ततः पुराणमखिलं सर्वशास्त्रमयं ध्रुवम् । नित्यशब्दमयं पुण्यं शत कोटिप्रविस्तरम्
tataḥ purāṇamakhilaṃ sarvaśāstramayaṃ dhruvam | nityaśabdamayaṃ puṇyaṃ śata koṭipravistaram
ครั้นแล้วคัมภีร์ปุราณะทั้งมวลก็อุบัติขึ้น—มั่นคงเป็นหลักฐาน รวมสาระแห่งศาสตราทั้งปวง; เป็นวาจาศักดิ์สิทธิ์อันเป็นนิรันดร์ เปี่ยมบุญกุศล และกว้างใหญ่ไพศาล—แผ่ขยายถึงร้อยโกฏิ
