ด้วยเหตุแห่งเรื่องศรุตกัลปะ พระวายุจึงได้แสดงหลักธรรมะทั้งหลาย; คัมภีร์ที่มีข้อความนี้ประกอบด้วยมหาตมยะของพระรุทระนั้น เรียกว่า “วายุวียะปุราณะ”
