ครั้นเมื่อโลกทั้งหลายถูกเผาผลาญสิ้นในกาลปรลัยแล้ว พระกฤษณะผู้มีรูปอันอนันต์ได้ทรงฟื้นคืนพระเวททั้งสี่พร้อมอังคะทั้งหลาย และทรงขยายคัมภีร์ปุราณะตามวิธีและเหตุผลอันถูกต้อง
