ईश्वर उवाच । यदा तु पृथिवी व्याप्ता दानवैर्बलवत्तरैः । ततः प्रभृति शापेन भृगुनैमित्तिकेन ह
īśvara uvāca | yadā tu pṛthivī vyāptā dānavairbalavattaraiḥ | tataḥ prabhṛti śāpena bhṛgunaimittikena ha
อีศวรตรัสว่า: เมื่อแผ่นดินถูกเหล่าทานวะผู้มีกำลังยิ่งเข้าครอบงำไปทั่ว นับแต่นั้น ด้วยคำสาปอันมีภฤคุเป็นเหตุ (กระแสแห่งพระประสงค์จึงดำเนินไปดังนี้)
