kṛmikīṭapataṃgāśca śvapacā vā narādhamāḥ | so'pi svargamavāpnoti kiṃ punarbhāvitātmavān
Īśvara (Śiva)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra (general)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Pārvatī
Scene: At a sacred ford, diverse beings—birds, insects, and marginalized humans—are shown receiving the same sanctifying light from the kṣetra; a disciplined pilgrim stands with folded hands, radiating inner purity.
A supremely holy place can uplift even the most degraded states of existence; inner refinement only increases the result.
The powerful tīrtha being praised in this adhyāya—centered on Trisaṅgama/Miśratīrtha in Prabhāsa-kṣetra.
No explicit rite; the verse states the extraordinary salvific fruit of contact with the tīrtha, especially for the purified-minded.
