अयं तु नवमो द्वीपः कुमार्या संज्ञितः प्रिये । अष्टौ द्वीपाः समुद्रेण प्लाविताश्च तथापरे
ayaṃ tu navamo dvīpaḥ kumāryā saṃjñitaḥ priye | aṣṭau dvīpāḥ samudreṇa plāvitāśca tathāpare
แต่ทวีปนี้เป็นทวีปที่เก้า เรียกว่า ‘กุมารยา’ โอ้ที่รัก ส่วนทวีปอื่นอีกแปดนั้นถูกมหาสมุทรท่วมกลืนไป
