सावित्र्या प्रीतया दत्ता सावित्र्याः पूजया तथा । सावित्रीत्येव नामाऽस्याश्चक्रे विप्राज्ञया नृपः
sāvitryā prītayā dattā sāvitryāḥ pūjayā tathā | sāvitrītyeva nāmā'syāścakre viprājñayā nṛpaḥ
พระธิดานั้นได้รับประทานด้วยความโปรดปรานของสาวิตรี และบังเกิดผลจากการบูชาสาวิตรี พระราชาจึงตามคำแนะนำของพราหมณ์ ตั้งนามนางว่า “สาวิตรี”
