कर्षुकाणां यथा सीता भूतानां धारिणी तथा । एवं स्तुवंतं सावित्री विष्णुं प्रोवाच सुव्रता

karṣukāṇāṃ yathā sītā bhūtānāṃ dhāriṇī tathā | evaṃ stuvaṃtaṃ sāvitrī viṣṇuṃ provāca suvratā

ดุจร่องไถ (สีตา) สำหรับชาวนาไถนา ฉันใด นางก็เป็นผู้ค้ำจุนสรรพสัตว์ทั้งปวงฉันนั้น. ครั้นเมื่อพระวิษณุกำลังสรรเสริญนางอยู่ สาวิตรีผู้มั่นคงในพรตศักดิ์สิทธิ์จึงกล่าวกับพระองค์.
