पतितं तच्च वै नालं प्रभासक्षेत्रमध्यतः । तदेव लिंगं संजातं महानालेति विश्रुतम्
patitaṃ tacca vai nālaṃ prabhāsakṣetramadhyataḥ | tadeva liṃgaṃ saṃjātaṃ mahānāleti viśrutam
ก้านกลวงนั้นตกลงกลางเขตศักดิ์สิทธิ์แห่งปรภาสะ จากก้านนั้นเองบังเกิดลึงคะหนึ่ง ซึ่งเลื่องลือภายหลังนามว่า ‘มหานาละ’
