संतुष्टो भगवान्यस्मात्तेषां तत्र तपस्विनाम् । तेन संतोषनाम्ना तु प्रख्यातं धरणीतले
saṃtuṣṭo bhagavānyasmātteṣāṃ tatra tapasvinām | tena saṃtoṣanāmnā tu prakhyātaṃ dharaṇītale
เพราะพระภควานทรงพอพระทัยต่อเหล่าฤๅษีผู้บำเพ็ญตบะ ณ ที่นั้น ฉะนั้นบนพื้นพิภพจึงเลื่องลือด้วยนามว่า “สันโตษะ”
