अस्मिन्मन्वन्तरे क्षिप्तः सागरैश्च चतुर्दिशम् । तस्येदं कीर्तितं देवि नाम सागरसंज्ञितम्
asminmanvantare kṣiptaḥ sāgaraiśca caturdiśam | tasyedaṃ kīrtitaṃ devi nāma sāgarasaṃjñitam
ข้าแต่เทวี ในมนวันตระนี้ เขาถูกทอดลงและแผ่ไปโดยมหาสมุทรทั้งสี่ทิศ; เพราะเหตุนั้นสถานที่นี้จึงเลื่องลือว่า “สาคร”
