नीलरक्तेन वस्त्रेण यत्कर्म कुरुते द्विजः । स्नानं दानं जपो होमः स्वाध्यायः पितृतर्पणम् । वृथा तस्य महायज्ञा नीलसूत्रस्य धारणात्
nīlaraktena vastreṇa yatkarma kurute dvijaḥ | snānaṃ dānaṃ japo homaḥ svādhyāyaḥ pitṛtarpaṇam | vṛthā tasya mahāyajñā nīlasūtrasya dhāraṇāt
พราหมณ์ผู้เป็นทวิชะ หากประกอบกรรมพิธีใดโดยนุ่งห่มผ้าสีน้ำเงินหรือสีแดง—ไม่ว่าอาบน้ำบูชา ทาน ญปะ โหมะ สวาธยาย หรือพิธีตัรปณะบูชาบรรพชน—ย่อมไร้ผลแก่ตน; แม้มหายัญก็เป็นหมัน เพราะสวม “นีลสูตร”
