प्रत्यक्षं भास्करो यत्र सदा तिष्ठति भामिनि । तेन प्रभास नामेति प्रसिद्धिमगमत्क्षितौ
pratyakṣaṃ bhāskaro yatra sadā tiṣṭhati bhāmini | tena prabhāsa nāmeti prasiddhimagamatkṣitau
โอ้ผู้เจิดจ้า ณ ที่ซึ่งภาสกร (พระอาทิตย์) ประหนึ่งปรากฏต่อหน้าและสถิตอยู่เสมอ ด้วยเหตุนั้นนาม “ประภาสะ” จึงเป็นที่เลื่องลือบนแผ่นดิน
