अथवा तेन देवेशि प्रभासमिति कीर्त्यते । प्रकृष्टा भारती ब्राह्मी विप्रोक्ता श्रूयतेऽध्वनि । सदा यत्र महादेवि प्रभासं तेन कीर्तितम्
athavā tena deveśi prabhāsamiti kīrtyate | prakṛṣṭā bhāratī brāhmī viproktā śrūyate'dhvani | sadā yatra mahādevi prabhāsaṃ tena kīrtitam
หรือด้วยเหตุนี้เอง โอ้เทวีผู้เป็นนายแห่งเทพทั้งหลาย สถานนี้จึงได้รับการสรรเสริญว่า “ประภาสะ” ณ ที่นั้น ตลอดหนทางย่อมได้ยิน “ภารตี” อันประเสริฐ—วาจาพราหมี อำนาจแห่งพระพรหม—ที่เหล่าวิปฺร/ฤๅษีเปล่งวาจา เพราะความรุ่งเรืองสถิตอยู่เสมอ โอ้มหาเทวี จึงประกาศนามว่า “ประภาสะ”
