तं दृष्ट्वा व्याधिना मर्त्यो पीड्यते न कदाचन । नान्धो न बधिरो मूको न रोगी न च निर्धनः । कदाचिज्जायते मर्त्यस्तेन दृष्टेन भूतले

taṃ dṛṣṭvā vyādhinā martyo pīḍyate na kadācana | nāndho na badhiro mūko na rogī na ca nirdhanaḥ | kadācijjāyate martyastena dṛṣṭena bhūtale

เมื่อได้เห็นพระองค์ (พระศิวะ ณ สถานศักดิ์สิทธิ์นั้น) มนุษย์ย่อมไม่ถูกรบกวนด้วยโรคภัยอีกเลย บนแผ่นดินนี้ ผู้ใดได้เห็นพระองค์แล้ว ย่อมไม่เกิดมาเป็นคนตาบอด หูหนวก เป็นใบ้ เจ็บป่วย หรือยากจนในกาลใดๆ
