ในวันประติปทา ผู้มีปัญญาพึงเลี้ยงภัตตาหารพราหมณ์ตามพระวินัย และถวายผ้านุ่งห่มใหม่ที่ยังมิได้ใช้ พร้อมทั้งเครื่องหอม พวงมาลัย และเครื่องทาเจิม
