ये ब्राह्मणाः सोऽहमसंशयं प्रिये तेष्वर्चितेष्वर्चितोऽहं भवेयम् । तेष्वेव तुष्टेष्वहमेव तुष्टो वैरं च तैर्यस्य ममापि वैरम्

ye brāhmaṇāḥ so'hamasaṃśayaṃ priye teṣvarciteṣvarcito'haṃ bhaveyam | teṣveva tuṣṭeṣvahameva tuṣṭo vairaṃ ca tairyasya mamāpi vairam

โอ้ที่รัก พราหมณ์เหล่านั้นนั่นแหละคือเราเองโดยไม่ต้องสงสัย เมื่อท่านได้รับการสักการะ เราก็ได้รับการสักการะ; เมื่อท่านพอใจ เราก็พอใจ ผู้ใดเป็นศัตรูกับท่าน ผู้นั้นเป็นศัตรูกับเราด้วย
