ईश्वर उवाच । य एते द्वादशादित्या विराजन्ते महाबलाः । तेषां यो विष्णुसंज्ञस्तु सर्वलोकेषु विश्रुतः
īśvara uvāca | ya ete dvādaśādityā virājante mahābalāḥ | teṣāṃ yo viṣṇusaṃjñastu sarvalokeṣu viśrutaḥ
อีศวรตรัสว่า “ในหมู่อาทิตยะผู้มีกำลังยิ่งทั้งสิบสององค์ที่ส่องประกายอยู่นี้ องค์ที่เลื่องลือในทุกโลกด้วยนามว่า ‘วิษณุ’ นั้นเป็นที่สรรเสริญยิ่ง”
