yūyaṃ sadbhāvasaṃyuktā yataḥ sarve maharṣayaḥ | tena me bhāṣituṃ śraddhā bhavatāṃ skandasaṃhitām

เพราะท่านทั้งหลายเป็นมหาฤๅษีผู้ประกอบด้วยสภาวะอันประเสริฐ ข้าพเจ้าจึงมีศรัทธาและปณิธานที่จะกล่าวสกันทสํหิตาแด่ท่านทั้งหลาย
