गोप्यं यत्पातकं पुंसां गोमती तद्व्यपोहति । स्मरणात्कीर्त्तनाद्वापि किं पुनः प्लवने कृते
gopyaṃ yatpātakaṃ puṃsāṃ gomatī tadvyapohati | smaraṇātkīrttanādvāpi kiṃ punaḥ plavane kṛte
บาปเร้นลับใด ๆ ของมนุษย์ โคมตีแม่น้ำศักดิ์สิทธิ์ย่อมขจัดให้สิ้น หากเพียงระลึกหรือสรรเสริญยังให้ผลเช่นนี้ แล้วการลงอาบและดำดิ่งในสายน้ำนั้นจะยิ่งใหญ่เพียงใด
