ātithyenārcito vipro dāsyate ca mahodayam | gṛhiṇī na gṛhe yasya satpātrāgamanaṃ vṛthā

เมื่อพราหมณ์ได้รับการบูชาด้วยอาคันตุกะธรรม (การต้อนรับแขก) เขาย่อมประทานความรุ่งเรืองยิ่งใหญ่ แต่เรือนใดไร้แม่เรือนผู้แท้จริง การมาของแขกผู้ควรค่าในเรือนนั้นย่อมเปล่าประโยชน์
