तत्र शक्रः स्तुतिं चक्रे भग्नोत्साहो नृपोत्तम । मुञ्च मां ब्राह्मणश्रेष्ठ यास्यामि त्रिदशालयम्
tatra śakraḥ stutiṃ cakre bhagnotsāho nṛpottama | muñca māṃ brāhmaṇaśreṣṭha yāsyāmi tridaśālayam
ครั้นแล้ว ณ ที่นั้น ศักระ (อินทรา) ผู้สิ้นกำลังใจและความทะนง ได้กล่าวสรรเสริญแล้วทูลว่า “ข้าแต่พราหมณ์ผู้ประเสริฐ โปรดปล่อยข้าพเจ้าเถิด ข้าพเจ้าจะไปยังเทวาลัยของเหล่าเทวดา”
