Transliteration

prabhūtaṃ patitaṃ toye pramādāttasya bhūpateḥ | na labdhaṃ tena bhūpāla anveṣaṇapareṇa ca

Translation

โอ้ภูปเต ด้วยความเผลอของพระราชา ทองคำเป็นอันมากได้ตกลงในสายน้ำ และแม้จะทรงค้นหาอย่างมุ่งมั่น โอ้ผู้ครองแผ่นดิน ก็ไม่อาจได้คืนมา
