देवा ऊचुः । कलिंगेन वयं देवि निरस्ताः संगरे मुहुः । तेन व्याप्तमिदं सर्वं त्रैलोक्यं सचराचरम्
devā ūcuḥ | kaliṃgena vayaṃ devi nirastāḥ saṃgare muhuḥ | tena vyāptamidaṃ sarvaṃ trailokyaṃ sacarācaram
เหล่าเทพกล่าวว่า: “ข้าแต่พระเทวี กาลิงคะได้ขับไล่พวกเราถอยร่นในศึกครั้งแล้วครั้งเล่า โดยเขานั้น ทุกสิ่งนี้—แม้ไตรโลกพร้อมทั้งสิ่งที่เคลื่อนไหวและไม่เคลื่อนไหว—ถูกแผ่ครอบงำไปสิ้น”
