śrīmahādeva uvāca | samyagjñāto'smi viprendra tvayā'haṃ nātra saṃśayaḥ | varaṃ varaya bhadraṃ te nṛtyādhikyaṃ yataḥ kṛtam
Śrī Mahādeva (Śiva)
Tirtha: Arbuda
Type: kshetra
Listener: Maṃkaṇa
Scene: Śiva speaks: ‘You have rightly recognized me… choose a boon… since exuberant dancing has been done.’ The moment is one of divine approval and impending blessing.
When devotion matures into recognition and surrender, the Lord responds with grace, offering boons that align the devotee with dharma.
The Arbuda sacred region is honored through the depiction of Mahādeva’s direct boon-bestowal within its narrative frame.
No explicit rite is commanded; the verse introduces the boon-giving moment that will shape subsequent merit and sacred practice.
