एतद्वः सर्वमाख्यातं यत्पृष्टोऽहं सुविस्तरात् । भवद्भिः सूर्यपुत्रस्य राज्ञा दशरथेन हि । संवादं रोहिणीभेदे सञ्जातं समुपस्थिते

etadvaḥ sarvamākhyātaṃ yatpṛṣṭo'haṃ suvistarāt | bhavadbhiḥ sūryaputrasya rājñā daśarathena hi | saṃvādaṃ rohiṇībhede sañjātaṃ samupasthite

สิ่งทั้งปวงที่ท่านทั้งหลายถามข้าพเจ้า ข้าพเจ้าได้เล่าให้ฟังโดยพิสดารแล้ว คือบทสนทนาระหว่างโอรสแห่งสุริยะ—ศไนศจะระ—กับพระราชาทศรถ ซึ่งบังเกิดขึ้นในคราวเหตุการณ์ ‘โรหิณีเภท’ เมื่อเหตุการณ์นั้นมาถึง
