Skanda (deduced)
Tirtha: Hāṭakeśvara
Type: kshetra
Scene: Indra stands before the Hāṭakeśvara-liṅga; a burst of light returns to his body and crown; the underworld darkness recedes as he ascends back toward heaven.
Darśana of Śiva at a true tīrtha is portrayed as immediately transformative—sin falls away and divine radiance is restored.
Hāṭakeśvara, whose darśana grants pāpa-nāśa (destruction of sin).
Darśana (beholding the liṅga/deity) is the explicit efficacious act in this verse.
