इत्युक्त्वा च द्विजश्रेष्ठस्तां त्यक्त्वापि शुचिव्रतः । जगाम स्वगृहं पश्चात्तथा जग्मुर्जना गृहान्
ityuktvā ca dvijaśreṣṭhastāṃ tyaktvāpi śucivrataḥ | jagāma svagṛhaṃ paścāttathā jagmurjanā gṛhān
ครั้นกล่าวดังนี้แล้ว พราหมณ์ผู้เลิศนั้น—แม้ตั้งมั่นในพรตอันบริสุทธิ์—ก็ทอดทิ้งนาง แล้วภายหลังกลับไปยังเรือนของตน; ส่วนผู้คนทั้งหลายก็พากันกลับบ้านของตนเช่นกัน
