वरुपूजोपहारैश्च नैवेद्यैर्विविधैस्ततः । ततो वर्षसहस्रांते स दैत्यो दुःखसंयुतः

varupūjopahāraiśca naivedyairvividhaistataḥ | tato varṣasahasrāṃte sa daityo duḥkhasaṃyutaḥ

ณ ที่นั้น เขาถวายเครื่องบูชาและนิเวทยะหลากหลายประการ; ครั้นครบหนึ่งพันปีแล้ว ทานวะผู้นั้นก็ยังคงถูกความทุกข์ครอบงำอยู่.
