सूत उवाच । तासां तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा दक्षः कोपसमन्वितः । शशाप शर्वरीनाथं गत्वा तत्संनिधौ ततः

สูตกล่าวว่า: ครั้นได้ฟังถ้อยคำของนางทั้งหลาย ทักษะก็เต็มไปด้วยโทสะ แล้วจึงไปยังสำนักของเขา และ ณ ที่นั้นได้สาปแช่งจอมแห่งราตรี
