tathā śivasya cāṣṭamyāṃ caitraśukle viśeṣataḥ | caturdaśyāṃ mahābhāga tava snehānna saṃśayaḥ

“ฉันใดก็ฉันนั้น สำหรับพระศิวะด้วย—โดยเฉพาะในวันอัษฏมีแห่งปักษ์สว่างเดือนไจตรา และในวันจตุรทศี โอ้ท่านผู้ประเสริฐ ทั้งหมดนี้กระทำด้วยความรักใคร่ต่อท่าน หาใช่มีข้อสงสัยไม่”
