yatra viṣṇupadī gaṃgā jaṃtūnāṃ pāpanāśinī | svayaṃ sthitā nṛpaśreṣṭha tathā devā harādayaḥ

ข้าแต่มหาราชผู้ประเสริฐ ที่นั่นคงคาอันชื่อวิษณุปที ผู้บังเกิดจากพระบาทแห่งพระวิษณุ สถิตอยู่ด้วยพระองค์เอง ทำลายบาปของสรรพสัตว์; และที่นั่นเหล่าเทพทั้งหลายก็พำนักอยู่ด้วย เริ่มแต่พระหระ (พระศิวะ) เป็นต้น
