नागा ऊचुः । मर्यादां कुरु देवेश अस्माकं मानवैः सह । अथवा संप्रयच्छस्व स्थानं मानुषवर्जितम्

nāgā ūcuḥ | maryādāṃ kuru deveśa asmākaṃ mānavaiḥ saha | athavā saṃprayacchasva sthānaṃ mānuṣavarjitam

พญานาคทั้งหลายกล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่พระผู้เป็นใหญ่แห่งเทพทั้งปวง โปรดกำหนดเขตและธรรมเนียมอันเหมาะสมระหว่างเรากับมนุษย์; หรือโปรดประทานที่พำนักซึ่งปราศจากมนุษย์”
