यावत्संख्यं जपेन्मत्रं तावत्संख्यान्यहानि सः । आयुषः परतो मर्त्यो जीवते नात्र संशयः

yāvatsaṃkhyaṃ japenmatraṃ tāvatsaṃkhyānyahāni saḥ | āyuṣaḥ parato martyo jīvate nātra saṃśayaḥ

เขาสวดมนต์นับได้กี่ครั้ง ก็มีวันเพิ่มพูนเท่านั้นในชีวิตของเขา; มนุษย์ผู้เป็นมรรตยะย่อมมีชีวิตเกินกว่าช่วงอายุที่กำหนดไว้—ข้อนี้ไม่มีความสงสัย
