śākalya uvāca | rājā'deśaḥ sadā kāryaḥ puruṣairdeśavāsibhiḥ | yogakṣemavidhānāya tathā lābhāya kevalam

ศากัลยะกล่าวว่า: ชาวเมืองทั้งหลายพึงปฏิบัติตามพระบัญชาของพระราชาอยู่เสมอ เพราะพระบัญชานั้นมีไว้เพื่อจัดให้เกิดโยคเกษมะ—ความผาสุกและความคุ้มครอง—และเพื่อความได้ประโยชน์ความรุ่งเรืองด้วย
