tatastretāyugaṃ nāma dvitīyaṃ saṃpravartate | varṣāṇāṃ ṣaṇṇavatyāḍhyā lakṣā dvādaśa saṃkhyayā

ครั้นแล้ว ยุคที่สองนามว่า “เตรตายุกะ” ก็เริ่มขึ้น มีอายุยืนยาวนับเป็นสิบสองลักษะปี และยังเพิ่มพูนด้วยอีกเก้าหมื่นหกพันปี
