tato'bhīṣṭāṃ samāsādya devatāṃ śikyamāśritaḥ | udakaṃ jalamadhye ca tadarthaṃ prakṣipeddrutam

แล้วเข้าไปใกล้เทวะที่ปรารถนา อาศัยถุงตาชั่งที่ห้อยอยู่ จากนั้นพึงรีบถวายอุทกบูชาโปรยลงกลางสายน้ำเพื่อพิธีนั้น
