तन्मनः क्षमया ग्राह्यं यथा वह्निश्च वारिणा । एकया क्षमया सर्वो नियमः कथितो बुधैः

tanmanaḥ kṣamayā grāhyaṃ yathā vahniśca vāriṇā | ekayā kṣamayā sarvo niyamaḥ kathito budhaiḥ

จิตพึงสำรวมด้วย “กษมา” คือความอดทนให้อภัย ดุจไฟถูกน้ำดับลง ด้วยคุณธรรมเดียวคือกษมา บัณฑิตกล่าวว่า วินัยทั้งปวงย่อมสำเร็จครบถ้วน
