यदि तेषां मनस्तुष्टिर्जायते द्विजसत्तमाः । ततः सूक्तानि वाक्यानि सौम्यानि सुशुभानि च । वारुणानि तथैंद्राणि मांगल्यप्रभवाणि च

yadi teṣāṃ manastuṣṭirjāyate dvijasattamāḥ | tataḥ sūktāni vākyāni saumyāni suśubhāni ca | vāruṇāni tathaiṃdrāṇi māṃgalyaprabhavāṇi ca

โอ้ท่านผู้ประเสริฐในหมู่ทวิชะ หากจิตของพวกเขาบังเกิดความพอใจแล้ว ถ้อยคำสุภาษิตอันอ่อนโยนและเป็นมงคลย่อมผุดขึ้น ทั้งวาจาอันประหนึ่งวรุณะและประหนึ่งอินทร์ อันเกื้อกูล เกิดจากมงคลภาวะเอง
