शुद्धिकामो व्रजेत्तत्र यत्र ते ब्राह्मणाः स्थिताः । प्रणम्य शिरसा तेषां ततोवाच्यस्तु मध्यगः

śuddhikāmo vrajettatra yatra te brāhmaṇāḥ sthitāḥ | praṇamya śirasā teṣāṃ tatovācyastu madhyagaḥ

ด้วยความปรารถนาจะชำระตน เขาพึงไปยังที่ซึ่งพราหมณ์เหล่านั้นนั่งอยู่ ครั้นน้อมศีรษะกราบแล้ว จึงพึงกล่าวถ้อยคำ โดยยืนอยู่ท่ามกลางท่านทั้งหลาย
