स वेदाध्ययनं चक्रे यौवने समुपस्थिते । वयस्यैः संमतैः सार्धं सदा हास्य परायणैः

sa vedādhyayanaṃ cakre yauvane samupasthite | vayasyaiḥ saṃmataiḥ sārdhaṃ sadā hāsya parāyaṇaiḥ

ครั้นเมื่อวัยหนุ่มมาถึง เขาได้ประกอบการศึกษาเวท—ร่วมกับสหายรุ่นเดียวกันผู้เป็นที่ชอบใจ ผู้มักเอนเอียงสู่เสียงหัวเราะและความรื่นเริงเสมอ
