सूत उवाच । अहं वः कीर्तयिष्यामि सर्वं यज्ञस्य संभवम् । वृत्तांतं यच्च तत्रस्थ माश्चर्यं द्विजपुंगवाः
sūta uvāca | ahaṃ vaḥ kīrtayiṣyāmi sarvaṃ yajñasya saṃbhavam | vṛttāṃtaṃ yacca tatrastha māścaryaṃ dvijapuṃgavāḥ
สูตะกล่าวว่า “โอ้ท่านผู้ประเสริฐในหมู่ทวิชะทั้งหลาย เราจักเล่าถึงกำเนิดและความเป็นไปทั้งหมดของยัญญะนั้น และจะบอกเล่าเหตุอัศจรรย์ที่เกิดขึ้น ณ ที่นั้นด้วย”
