etasmātkāraṇānnityaṃ bhramāmaśchidrahetave | prāpte rātrimukhe rājanna prātarna ca vāsare

ด้วยเหตุนี้เอง เราจึงพเนจรไม่หยุด เพื่อแสวงหา ‘ช่อง’ คือความผ่อนคลายหรือที่พึ่ง ครั้นราตรีใกล้เข้ามา ข้าแต่พระราชา สำหรับเราไม่มีรุ่งอรุณ และไม่มีวัน
