māṃsāda uvāca | pretayoniriyaṃ rājannavamī devasaṃjñitā | guṇatrayasamāyuktā śeṣairdoṣaiḥ samaṃtataḥ

มางสาทะกล่าวว่า: “ข้าแต่พระราชา ภาวะแห่งเปรตนี้เรียกว่า ‘นวมี’ คือ ‘ลำดับที่เก้า’ และยังถูกเรียกว่า ‘ทิพย์’ ด้วย มันประกอบด้วยคุณสามประการ แต่ถูกโทษอื่นๆ โอบล้อมอยู่ทุกด้าน”
