सूत उवाच । स तथेति प्रतिज्ञाय गतश्चादर्शनं रविः । दीपवद्ब्राह्मणश्रेष्ठास्तदद्भुतमिवा भवत्
sūta uvāca | sa tatheti pratijñāya gataścādarśanaṃ raviḥ | dīpavadbrāhmaṇaśreṣṭhāstadadbhutamivā bhavat
สูตะกล่าวว่า “ครั้นให้สัตย์ว่า ‘ตถาสตุ—เป็นดังนั้นเถิด’ แล้ว พระสุริยเทพ (รวิ) ก็อันตรธานจากสายตา โอ้พราหมณ์ผู้ประเสริฐ เหตุอัศจรรย์นั้นประหนึ่งประทีปที่ถูกถอนดับฉับพลัน”
