tasmāccintayata kṣipramasya śuddhipradaṃ hi yat | tacca pramāṇatāṃ nītvā śuddhirasya pradīyate
Unnamed Nāgara dvija(s) (collective resolution)
Scene: A senior dvija rises, commanding attention, instructing the group to quickly determine a purification method and establish its authority; the supplicant looks hopeful; a manuscript is about to be produced.
Compassion must be joined with correctness: purification is granted only after confirming a legitimate dharmic basis.
The tīrtha setting remains the backdrop; the verse focuses on the process of authorizing a remedy rather than naming the site.
A procedural prescription: identify a śuddhi-giving practice and validate it as pramāṇa before applying it.
