मानुषेणैव रूपेण त्यक्त्वा तां बदरीं शुभाम् । प्रसिद्ध्यर्थं मया चात्र प्रासादोऽयं विनि र्मितः । मन्नाम्ना नरसंज्ञश्च श्रद्धापूतेन चेतसा

mānuṣeṇaiva rūpeṇa tyaktvā tāṃ badarīṃ śubhām | prasiddhyarthaṃ mayā cātra prāsādo'yaṃ vini rmitaḥ | mannāmnā narasaṃjñaśca śraddhāpūtena cetasā

“เราละทิ้งพำนักบะดะรีอันเป็นมงคลนั้น แล้วทรงรูปมนุษย์ เพื่อให้สถานที่นี้เป็นที่เลื่องลือ เราจึงให้สร้างปราสาท (วิหาร) นี้ไว้ ณ ที่นี่ และด้วยจิตที่ชำระด้วยศรัทธา จงรู้จักตามนามของเราว่า ‘นร’”
