सूत उवाच । एवमुक्त्वा परित्यज्य पितरं स वनं गतः । मातरं च सुदुःखार्तां प्रलपन्तीमनेकधा

sūta uvāca | evamuktvā parityajya pitaraṃ sa vanaṃ gataḥ | mātaraṃ ca suduḥkhārtāṃ pralapantīmanekadhā

สูตะกล่าวว่า: ครั้นกล่าวดังนี้แล้ว เขาละทิ้งบิดาและไปสู่ป่า ทั้งยังทิ้งมารดาผู้ทุกข์ระทมยิ่งไว้เบื้องหลัง คร่ำครวญร่ำไห้หลากหลายประการ.
