शांडिल्युवाच । एवमुक्त्वा मुनिश्रेष्ठो नारदः प्रययौ ततः । तीर्थयात्रां प्रति प्रीत्या मम मात्रा विसर्जितः

śāṃḍilyuvāca | evamuktvā muniśreṣṭho nāradaḥ prayayau tataḥ | tīrthayātrāṃ prati prītyā mama mātrā visarjitaḥ

ศาณฑิลยะกล่าวว่า: ครั้นกล่าวดังนี้แล้ว นารทผู้เป็นมุนีผู้เลิศก็ออกเดินทางไป ต่อจากนั้น มารดาของข้าพเจ้าได้ส่งท่านไปด้วยความปีติ สู่การจาริกแสวงบุญยังทีรถะอันศักดิ์สิทธิ์
