yastairdarbhairnaro bhaktyā tilaiścāraṇyasaṃbhavaiḥ | karoti tarpaṇaṃ viprāḥ sa prīṇāti pitāmahān

โอ้พราหมณ์ทั้งหลาย ผู้ใดด้วยศรัทธา กระทำตัรปณะ (tarpaṇa) ด้วยหญ้าดัรภะนั้นและงาที่เกิดในป่านั้น ย่อมยังบรรพชน (ปิตฤ) ให้พอพระทัย
